To the Sadlon Family,
Uncle Wally was one of the most wonderful people in my life. He was gentle, kind and thoughtful. He always had a great smile for everyone. He was always willing to help my mom and everyone with the talents he possessed. He will be missed by all the people who's lives he touched. Now he rests, with many accomplishments to his credit, in a much better place. He will always have a special place in our hearts.

Grandpa you were one of the most gentle and giving people I have ever had the honor of knowing. A great husband, great father, grandfather, and a great friend. You were truly one of a kind. I always think back to the times I would come visit and follow you around in your garden while you would whistle a little tune. I will never forget these little moments I was able to share with you, they will always bring a smile to my face. I love you gramps, you will be greatly missed.

In many ways I've tried to model myself after my grandfather, and in many ways I've failed, but not for lack of trying.
What I've come to realize, as I'm sure you all have, is that my grandpa was one of a kind, a true Renaissance Man, an old soul, a saint. Long live the Pope!
I'll miss you Grandpa, but your teachings I'll forever carry, along with a nostalgic penchant for Polka music. Keep on dancing, Grandpa!

To our dearest Auntie Helen, Patty, Ron, Gary, Elaine and their children. We are never prepared to say goodbye but only know that Uncle Wally is in a much better place with those that left before him. We can find comfort in knowing we will all be together one day and Uncle Wally will be waiting with open arms. He will have an endless polka ready. Our memories of Uncle Wally are all of the happiest times with his heart warming laugh when we would compare him to then the Pope John Paul. His gentle nature and always a gentleman will be is legacy that live within each of you. May his memory be eternal and may God bring peace to each of you as you travel to CT. All our love to the Sadlon family at this time of sorrow.

I remember Uncle Wally to be the most gentle, kind man. Besides the fact that my sisters and I thought he was the cutest man ever, we always enjoyed when he and Aunt Helen came to visit. I will never forget the last time I saw him before he moved to Arizona. I know he is with our Heavenly Father who will give his family eternal memories and devine blessings. May this special man rest in peace.

RIP Walter Sadlon.
My grandfather and one of my heroes. A gentle and soft spoken man with a heart of gold. A WWII Navy veteran and a Sikorsky engineer for over 40 years. An artist. A crafter. A gardener. A dancer. A mechanic. A jack of a trades. More importantly, a family man that would do anything for anyone and a man who I never saw anything get him down or upset. God Bless you gramps. You will never be forgotten. Forever always in my heart and mind.
