Mr. Nevkrytyy pursued his education at Mining Academy in Ukraine, earning a master's degree in mechanical engineering. In 2005, he and his family emigrated to Canada due to the challenging post-9/11 immigration landscape in the United States. Their journey eventually led them to the United States in 2015, where they joyfully settled in CT. Although work necessitated a relocation to Seattle, Washington, Mr. Nevkrytyy's heart always yearned for Connecticut. His dream came true when he returned to Orange, CT in 2020. He was truly passionate about work. He was employed as Machine Operator in the United States and Canada and always had some home improvement projects in the works. During his last months when his mobility was impaired, he said – “work is a privilege, not obligation. Now I can’t work, but you can”.
A passionate outdoorsman, Mr. Nevkrytyy was an avid fisherman who cherished his time in nature. Together with his beloved wife Maryna, they explored the vast landscapes of the United States, a country he held close to his heart. Their shared a Christian Faith that led them on a journey to Israel, where they walked in the footsteps of Jesus Christ along the Via Dolorosa.
In addition to his love for the outdoors, Mr. Nevkrytyy had a profound appreciation for the arts and classical paintings, with a special fondness for the works of Salvador Dali and Vincent Van Gogh. He will always be remembered for his unwavering love and dedication to his family.
