Dear Bro: Even back then, you were smiling, and I had my mouth open complaining about something. You will always be my big brother, and I will miss you dearly. Bob
Jack, you will be missed in so many ways. There should have been more time cause you surely deserved it. Your kindness and sense of humor I will always remember. Your love of all animals and oh how they loved you ! I don't think there was a dog in the condo complex in Fort Myers that didn't know Jack and Jack didn't know its name, always ready to give out the treats. The one thing though that I will always carry with me is that I was proud to have called you my brother-in-law.

Even though it's a bit blurry, this is one of my favorite pictures of my father and me. He always took the time to shoot some hoops with me even after a long day of work. With my father, the happiness and well-being of others always came first. He was a genuinely kind man and I am so proud to call him my dad.

Thank you so much for all you did for your students. I have very fond memories of you and the way you taught. I am currently a teacher and base some of my teaching style off of yours. I enjoyed reconnecting, although briefly, after I graduated college and just talking about the ins and outs of teaching. Rest in Peace Mr. Bratt! -José C
The first trip we went on together to Sagamore has such happy memories, just like our friendship throughout the years. Jack was always so pleasant to be with and so helpful in all ways possible. We shared our deep love for all animals. You will be missed in so many ways. LeRoy and Pat Degraw
