Obituary of Yvonne F. Rossetti

Yvonne Rossetti, age 85, of Middlebury, CT, passed away on January 26, 2024. Yvonne was born on March 12, 1938 to Arthur and Frances Robillard in Seymour, CT. After Yvonne graduated from Seymour High School in 1956, she went on to work for SNET for many years. After retiring from the telephone company, Yvonne worked as a paraprofessional at Seymour High School. She loved working with the students each day and attending sporting events. Yvonne was well known for her love of shopping, shopping, and more shopping! Pocketbooks filled her closets and she would change purses every day. She loved to be entertained by her cat Woody as well as have conversations with the ladies by the fish tank at Woodside Heights where she resided. Spending time with family was a highlight in her life. Yvonne is predeceased by her parents, sister-in-law Lucille and niece Isla. Yvonne was the oldest of three children. She is survived by a brother Arthur Robillard (Rosemary) of Seymour and sister, Gail Allegretto of Terryville. She never had children of her own, but her nieces and nephews meant everything to her. David, Melissa (Frank), Michael (Melissa), Christine (Nick); she also leaves behind several great nieces and nephews. She even earned the nickname Auntie Munchkin for her love of bringing them these treats every visit. Services will be private. A celebration of life ceremony will be planned in the future.
