Obituary of Patricia M. Little

Patricia Minalga Little, age 78 of Shelton, died peacefully on April 6, 2024 at Griffin Hospital.  Born in Bridgeport on June 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John Peter and Anna Helen Coolis Minalga.  Ms. Little was raised in Bridgeport and was a 1963 graduate of Central High School.  She worked as an emergency room coordinator St. Francis Hospital and Baptist East Hospital, both of Memphis, TN and lastly, Bridgeport Hospital, until the time of her retirement in 2008.  Ms. Little was a longtime member of the Anglican Cathedral Church of the Resurrection of Ansonia, enjoyed relentless catalog shopping and jaunts to the casinos.  She will be long remembered for positive personality and her ability to bring joy and laughter to all, despite her own personal circumstances.  She is survived by her devoted children, Donna Quiles of Trumbull and Kenneth Von Holtz and his wife Kim, of IN; cherished grandchildren, April Emery and her husband, Matt of RI, Nicholas Morgan and his wife Erin of RI, Savanah Yuhasz of IN and Kristopher Von Holtz of IN; great-grandchildren, Leon Morgan of RI, Odyn Beougher of IN and Bella; as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sister, Celeste Verzaro and brother, Michael Minalga.  Family and friends may call on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.  Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
