Obituary of Harry Cirkot
CIRKOT- Harry Cirkot, age 95, beloved husband of the late Mary Horoshak Cirkot, died November 11, 2007, in his home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Ansonia on August 10, 1912, he was the son of the late Jacob and Amelia Wabuda Cirkot. Mr. Cirkot was a lifelong Ansonia resident and worked as an office clerk for the American Brass Co. for 40 years, until the time of his retirement. He was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church where he was active in the choir and the LUC. Mr. Cirkot is survived by a niece, Nancee Tosolini and her husband, Anthony of CA and Nephew, Steve Horoshak and his wife, Linda of CA; several other nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a beloved friend, Dottie Brenia of Ansonia; friend and caregiver, George OGrodnick of Ansonia, and his assistants, Meryl, Gina and Nancy. In addition to his wife, Mr. Cirkot was predeceased by a brother, Michael Cirkot, and sisters, Mary and Dorothy Cirkot and Anna Soltis. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, November 15, 2007, at 9:15 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia at 10:00AM. Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul AC Fund.
