Les was a good friend and a good man. I missed him when he moved to CT. He was always very kind to Joseph, often taking him out to Okeanos in Hampton Bays. He was intelligent and most knowledgeable out the world of nature.I remember one time he came into my 5th grade class in his Park Ranger suit. You would think "Smokey the Bear" was there in person. Thanks, Les, for the fond memories. Ann
