Obituary of Theresa Slosser

SLOSSER- Theresa M. Slosser, age 81, beloved wife of Robert Slosser of Bristol, died November 26, 2010 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on December 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Minchak Oleyar. Mrs. Slosser was a Shelton resident for over 30 years before moving to Bristol 10 years ago. She was a home maker and employed by the Bic Corp. for 14 years, working in the lighter division before her retirement. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Karen Dziubina and her husband, Walter of Ansonia, Ronald Slosser and his wife, Doreen of Bristol, Richard Slosser and his wife, Jackie of Shelton, Kenneth Slosser and his wife, Nellie of AZ and daughter-in-law, Colleen Slosser of Shelton; a sister, Dorothy Chulak and her husband, John of Shelton; cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Michelle Dziubina, Jason and Victoria Dziubina, Justin, Johnna and Jonathan Slosser, Sharla and Lindsay Slosser; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Preston Dziubina. Mrs. Slosser was predeceased by a son, Robert Slosser. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 9:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Coram Ave., Shelton. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Huntington. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
