Obituary of Nicholas Kraynicki

KRAYNICKI- Nicholas Kraynicki, age 88 of Seymour, beloved husband of the late Helen Chuta Kraynicki, died December 21, 2010 at the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven. Born in Ansonia on December 10, 1922, he was the son of the late Peter and Ciliunia Hutyriak Kraynicki. Mr. Kraynicki was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the CWV Post 1562 and longtime resident of Seymour. He retired in 1984 from the Anaconda Brass Co. following 35 years of employment. He is survived by his devoted children, Marianne Allen of Goshen, Linda Ciociola and her husband Al, of Cheshire and Nicholas Kraynicki, Jr. of Seymour; a brother, Andrew Rotko of Ansonia; cherished grandchildren, Barbara Breor and her husband, Tom, Gary Allen, Chris Allen and his wife, Audra, and Matthew and Allison Ciociola; and a cherished great-grandson, Adam Breor. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 24, 2010 at 9:00AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia. Interment with Military Honors will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Parastas will be at 6:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Preservation Fund.
