Obituary of Corrado Marchio

MARCHIO- Corrado Marchio, age 74 of MI, formerly of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Leonilda Pace Marchio, died January 21, 2011. Born in Italy on November 7, 1937, he was the son of the late Bruno and Teresa Marchio. Mr. Marchio served in the Italian Army and immigrated to the US in 1961. He worked as a machinist for Bridgeport Machines Inc. for over 20 years, before retiring in 1988. He is survived by his devoted children, Joseph Marchio and his wife Mindy of Monroe, Kathy Figueroa and her husband, Hector of Ansonia and Bruno Marchio of Ansonia; as well as cherished grandchildren, Jacqueline and Matthew Marchio and Eric Figueroa. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM in St. Ambrose Church, 1596 Boston Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
