Obituary of Michael Supple JR.

SUPPLE- Michael John Supple, Jr., age 41, husband of Lisa Roma Supple of Bridgeport, died suddenly at home on June 3, 2011. Born in Bridgeport on August 12, 1969, he was the son of the late Michael J. Supple, Sr. and Carol Reden. Mr. Supple was a 1987 graduate of Platt Tech High School and in 1991 graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor's of Arts. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and was previously employed with Frank Pepe's Pizzeria of New Haven. Mr. Supple was proud of his Irish heritage, enjoyed playing softball and golf, but will be long remembered for his jovial sense of humor and being a self proclaimed stand up comedian. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Amanda Elizabeth Supple and Stephanie Marie Supple, both of Bridgeport; sisters, Kim Parsons and her husband, Robert of Wolcott and Kerry Steinfeld and her husband, Michael of Woodbridge; as well as several nieces and nephews. In honor of Mike's comedic prowess, family and friends are invited to attend and participate in an"Open Mic Night" in celebration of his life on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
