Obituary of Katrina & Kevin Hudson

HUDSON- Katrina Lynn "Katie", age 22, Kevin William "Kev", age 18 and Katrina's unborn daughter, Alexis Paige Raber, died September 5, 2011 in their home in Morgantown, WV, formerly of Ansonia. Both born in Derby, Katrina on January 20, 1989, Kevin on November 18, 1992, they were the beloved children of Clifford H. Hudson III of Ansonia and the late Karin Box Richardson (DOD 9/5/2011). Katie was a 2007 Graduate of Ansonia High School and was employed as a retail clerk. She had attended Derby and Ansonia schools and aspired to study early childhood development. She also worked as a bus monitor with special needs students that were her inspiration to pursue a career in special education. She enjoyed collecting snow globes, scrapbooking, music, and connecting with friends through social media. Kevin attended Ansonia schools and studied Electronics at Emmett O'Brien Tech his freshman and sophomore years; he was currently a Senior at University High School in Morgantown, WV. He enjoyed skateboarding, photography & Photoshop, art & animation, and video games. He aspired to use his creativity and computer savvy as a graphic arts and video game designer. Both Katrina and Kevin touched many lives and left their mark on each heart they came in contact with. In addition to their father, they are survived by their stepmother, Deborah Hopkins of Ansonia; brothers and sisters, Richard Hudson, Christopher Hudson, Jacob Hudson, Heather Hopkins and Rochelle Hopkins, all of Ansonia; grandmother, June Hill Box of Torrington; grandparents, William & Gail Box of Bluffton, SC and grandfather, Clifford H. Hudson, Jr. of Monroe. In addition to their mother, they were predeceased by their grandmother, Beatrice Graham Hudson; stepfather, Charles Richardson III (DOD 9/5/2011); and Katrina's Fiancé and father of baby Alexis, Robert Raber (DOD 9/5/2011). A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
