It was pleasure to work with Mr.Adzima over the years. He was a gentleman to myself and family especially to my uncle Harold Andrew who had a lasting relationship with him until his recent passing as well.I will always remember planting flowers with him for the spring at applewood for many years as well as helping to clean with him in the house we mostly ate together. He will forever be in my heart as well as "Unks" he will never be forgotten and will have a lasting impact on me throughout the rest of my life. Say hello to unk you guys can continue the gym together now.Thoughts and Prayers.Always, Brett Pawlak

John was a friend and classmate from Willis elementary school through AHS, Class of '51. He was a fine student and an even finer person. I'm proud to have known him. Sympathy to all--

I have very fond memories of taking many of the same classes with John in our years at Ansonia High. John was a quiet, caring, likeable, and good friend. I was proud of his accomplishments in the education of many young people who admired his methodology in the formation of their lives. He was beloved by his peers with whom he worked. Marty Soloway, classmate of AHS'51
