Obituary of Julia Stuppin
Julia Stuppin, age 90, a long time resident of Seymour passed peacefully in Griffin Hospital on March 27, 2008. She was born November 18, 1917 in Ansonia and was the daughter of the late Theodosia Bodak and Pawel Pawchyk. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Stuppin. She leaves her sisters Eva Kwoka of Oxford, and Anna Spakowsky of Ansonia. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased of 9 days by her brother Peter P. Pawchyk, Sr., as well as brothers Dimetro Pawchyk, and John Pawchyk , and sister Mary Lombardi. She will be greatly missed by her loving nieces: Annette German, Katherine Bisson, Susan Bateman, Nancy Gulash, Paula Pawchyk and Joanna Deagan, and nephews: Paul Lombardi, Stephen Spakowsky, Jack Stuppin and David Kwoka. She was a devoted member of the Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia, CT. At her request, there will only be a private family funeral. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave. Ansonia, is in care of arrangements. Internment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
