Obituary of Jacob Lucuk

Lucuk-Jacob J. Lucuk, age 84, beloved husband of Eleanor Hengher Lucuk of Derby, died April 12, 2009 at Griffin Hospital. Born in Seymour on May 16, 1924, he was the son of the late Wasil and Alexandra Rodenko Lucuk. Mr. Lucuk was a U.S. Army Veteran on WWII and member of the American Legion, Emil Senger Post #10, Seymour. He worked as a Machinist for 35 years for the Ansonia Copper and Brass Co., until his retirement in 1982. In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Gotsch and her husband, Paul of Derby; stepson, Harold H. Lucuk of Spokane, WA; and grandchildren, William and Nicholas Gotsch of Derby. He was predeceased by brothers, Theodore, Peter, Walter, Paul and Robert Lucuk. Funeral services are private.
