Obituary of Mary Supp
SUPP- Mary Biggs Supp, age 100 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Peter Supp, died March 29, 2010 at the Marshall Lane Manor Health Care Center, Derby. Born in Derby on March 24, 1910, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Banyia Biggs. Mrs. Supp was a Seymour resident for over 25 years and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking. Together with her husband, she owned and operated Supp's Town Market in Ansonia's north end for over 20 years. She was a member of St. James Immanuel Episcopal Church of Derby. Mrs. Supp is survived by her devoted children, Joyce Yocher of Derby and George Supp and his wife Dorothy of FL; cherished grandchildren, Donald Yocher, Jr. of Derby, Sharon Tichy and her husband, Kurt and Gary Yocher and his wife Corinne, all of Orange; cherished great-grandchildren, Kyle and Megan Tichy and Ryan, Garrett and Jessica Yocher, all of Orange; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Paul, Stephen and George Biggs; Peter and Michael Fitzsimmons; and a grandson, Robert Yocher.
