Obituary of Stephanie Weinberg

Weinberg -Stephanie Lydia Weinberg, age 75, beloved wife of Howard Weinberg of Oxford, CT, passed away on August 14, 2010 at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven after a long illness. She was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on April 5, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Parasceva Koliada. Mrs. Weinberg was an Employee at Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford and also worked at Hamilton Standard in Shelton, where she retired in 1987. She was a devout member of the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church of Stratford and truly enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Lydia. Mrs. Weinberg is survived by her devoted children, David of Cheshire, Mark and wife Nancy of Cape Coral, FL and Craig of Thomaston; as well as three cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Natasha and Lydia; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and six sisters. Funeral Services are private. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave, Ansonia, is in care of the arrangements.
