Obituary of Larry Thomson

THOMSON-Larry P. Thomson, age 65, beloved husband of Karen Swantko Thomson of Ansonia, died December 8, 2010 in his home. Born in Canada on October 28, 1945, he was the son of Donald and Ruth Reierson Thomson of WA. Mr. Thomson was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and 18 year resident of Ansonia, previously of Meriden. He worked as a Support Specialist for the Birmingham Group, until the time of his retirement. Mr. Thomson was a dedicated member of the Jaycees, he was a past president of the Meriden Jaycees and also a past president of the CT JCI Senate; also a past president of the Lemko Club, Ansonia. In addition to his devoted wife and parents, he is survived by brothers, Marvin Thomson of Canada and James Thomson of OH. He was predeceased by a brother, Brian Thomson.
