Obituary of Tillie Warion

WARION- Tillie Warion, age 87 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late John Warion, died February 19, 2011 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. Born in Ansonia on September 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Domka Dubinka Bakunowich. Mrs. Warion was a formerly an Ansonia resident and member of Assumption Church where she belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America. She worked for the former Kornblat's Clothing Store of Main St., Ansonia and then worked as an electrical assembler for the former Samarius Co. of Derby, for over 20 years until retirement. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Joan Marie Warion of Seymour and her loyal and loved golden retriever, Major. Mrs. Warion is predeceased by three brothers, Peter and Nicholas Bakunowich, Alexander Bakunowich, Jr. and his wife, Marie; and a sister, Nina Bakunowich. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 9:30 AM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
