Obituary of Robert Kudej

Robert B. Kudej, age 39 of Ansonia, died peacefully on October 1, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital following a long illness. Born in Derby, on August 23, 1974, he was the beloved son of Veronica Egan Kudej of Ansonia and the late Gregory M. Kudej, Sr. Mr. Kudej was a graduate of St. Michael Grammar School and was a 1993 Graduate of Emmett O'Brien Vocational Technical High School. He was a stair builder for the Chestnut Street Stair Company of Shelton for nine years, until the time of his illness. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Carolyn Tupy and her husband, Jeffrey of Waterbury; brother, Gregory Kudej, Jr. and his wife, Marta of Seymour; niece, Lyndsey Tupy of Waterbury; nephews, Logan and Benjamin Kudej of Seymour; best friend of 25 years, Mike Smith of Ansonia; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. At the request of the family, funeral services and interment will be private.
