Obituary of Mary Szpak

SZPAK- Mary Szpak, age 92, of Dunedin, FL, formerly a long time resident of Middlebury, died March 28, 2008 in Clearwater, FL. Born in Waterbury on May 22, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kima. Mrs. Szpak was a home maker and a lifelong parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Ansonia. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Andrea Dixon and her companion, Clark Carey of Dunedin, FL and Maryann Patulak and her husband, Michael of Prospect, CT; cherished grandchildren, Jeff Patulak and his wife, Mindy, Robert and Thomas Patulak; as well as a great-grandson, Tyler Patulak. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Andrew Szpak; two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 9:15 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia. Interment will take place in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Preservation Fund.
