Obituary of Helen Zenowich

ZENOWICH- Helen Zenowich, age 84 of Ansonia, died May 1, 2008 in the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven. Born in Ansonia on July 18, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Lencovicki Zenowich. Miss Zenowich worked in the pressroom of the former B.F. Goodrich Co. for 27 years before her 10 year employment as a cafeteria worker for Griffin Hospital, retiring in 1985. She is survived by her devoted nephews, Robert Nolan and his wife, Gerri of Meriden, and Patrick Nolan of AZ, Roberta Nolan of Milford, James Nolan of FL and John Nolan of Ansonia; as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Fred Zenowich, a sister, Marie Nolan and her beloved companion, Richard Kirpas. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at 9:15 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM in Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Ave., Ansonia. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and friends may call on Monday, May 5, 2008, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM; Memorial Prayers will be said at 6:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Three Saints Church.
