Obituary of Nancy Baran

BARAN- Nancy A. Baran, age 61 of Oxford, beloved wife of the late Andrew J. Baran, Jr., died May 9, 2008, just 2 months and 2 days following her husbands death. Born in Bridgeport on September 23, 1946, she was the daughter of Helen Allen of Fairfield and the late William Allen. Mrs. Baran worked as a line worker for the Peter Paul / Hershey Corp. for over 20 years until her retirement in 2004. She is survived by her devoted children, Andrew J. Baran III and his fiance, Tammy of MD, Colleen E. Baran of Oxford, Michael J. Baran and his wife Tracey of Ansonia, and Thomas J. Baran of Oxford; cherished grandchildren, Cadeena, Amanda, Michael, Zachary and Gannon Baran; special nephews, Bill and Bob Allen; as well as 2 sisters. In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Baran was predeceased by a brother and sister. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00PM.
