Obituary of Helen Mary Raduk

RADUK- Helen Mary Raduk, age 89, died peacefully on March 13, 2016 at Griffin Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on June 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Rose Czeperak Raduk. Miss Raduk was a graduate of Stratford High School, Butler Business School and Danbury Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Danbury Hospital for 40 years. Following her retirement from nursing, she began a second career as a Secretary at Southern Connecticut State University for 10 years until her retirement in 1989. Miss Raduk was a longtime resident of Stratford and a lifelong member of Three Saints Orthodox Church, Ansonia. She is survived by a nephew, Serge Harabosky of Newtown and great-nieces, Alexandra Harabosky of Switzerland and Anna Harabosky of NYC; as well as many cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Three Saints Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Avenue, Ansonia. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call directly at church on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Three Saints Church.
