Obituary of Stephen Minalgo

MINALGO- Stephen J. Minalgo, age 53 of Ansonia, died August 16, 2008 in Griffin Hospital following a sudden illness. Born in Bridgeport on February 24, 1955, he was the beloved son of Celeste Sally Verzaro of Ansonia and the late William Minalgo. Mr. Minalgo was a proud U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of the Viet Nam War and worked as a skilled grinder in the machine trade. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his cherished daughters, Amanda and Allison Minalgo of Portland, OR; a devoted brother, John Minalgo and his wife, Patricia of Newtown; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia with the Bishop Rocco Florenza officiating. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
