Obituary of Mary "Dolly" Narowski
Mary “Dolly” Narowski age 92, of Derby, beloved wife of the late Edmund A. Narowski, died peacefully on November 24, 2019 in her home with family by her side. Born in Olyphant, PA on August 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anastasia Zywicki Fadden. Dolly worked for the former Sperry Rand Co. as an assembler in the Remington Electric Shaver division for many years, until the time of her retirement in 1979. She was a devout Communicant of St. Michael Church, and dedicated wife and mother; always putting the needs of her family before her own. Her life’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and having the opportunity to watch them grow into adulthood and parenthood, providing her with cherished great-grandchildren. Very active throughout her life, she had a great deal of curiosity and liked to tinker and repair things. Her children and grandchildren were the recipients of many of her crocheted afghans. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Kathleen) Narowski of Florida and David Narowski of Seymour; a daughter, Diane Scarpa of Derby; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 47 years, she was predeceased by sisters, Frances Lukasik and Ann Persico; and a brother, Michael Fadden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at 11:00 AM in St. Michael Church, 75 Derby Avenue, Derby. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Derby.
