Obituary of Carl Otto Dahn IV

Carl Otto Dahn IV, age 38 of Florida, unexpectedly died at his residence on Thanksgiving morning, November 25, 2021.  Born in Derby, CT on February 9, 1983, he was the son of Carl Otto and Joanne Ruth Boylan Dahn III of Florida. Carl was raised in Florida and was active in youth soccer as a boy. He worked as a skilled electrician, for several companies and as an independent electrical contractor. As a loving uncle, he would enjoy teaching his nephew new things, like the correct way to pronounce vowels. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving companion, Christine Long of FL; beloved children, Carl Otto Dahn, V and Chloe Olivia Dahn, both of FL; maternal grandmother, Marie Boylan of Ansonia; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Dahn of Seymour; devoted sister, Jessica (Ryan Pride) Dahn of FL; devoted brother, Scott Dahn of FL; nephew, Brady Pride and niece, Aria Pride, both of FL; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Carl was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Boylan and paternal grandfather, Carl Otto Dahn, II.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM, in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue., Ansonia. Interment will follow in Jacks Hill Cemetery, Oxford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
