Mom, It's been 2 years today and I miss you just as much as then. The UCONN women are playing tonight, and are ahead at halftime. I know how much you enjoyed watching them on TV and I'm glad we were able to take you to see a live game.

Catherine, you were a celebration of life. So many people were graced by your long, full life. I feel so lucky to have known you. Every visit was marked with lively conversation, chocolate, interesting stories about you first meeting your husband, John, laughter and more chocolate. I'm so happy that Eastwood got to know his great-grandmother who spoiled him with the most perfect gifts. Every time he picks up the harmonica you gave him, he exclaims, "My toot!" You will be missed and remembered. Love, Robyn

Mom, I miss you so much. You were always there for me through some pretty tough times in my life and I just hope that you think I was there for you in your later years. You were an amazingly strong, independent woman until the very end and I want to be like you. I love you. Janice

Grandma, you're part of one of my earliest memories. It was the day my parents came home with my brother Craig. I was 3 years old. Years later, if either one of us behaved badly you would jokingly claim we must have been left on the steps by Indians. You were never afraid to make a joke. You got it. I'm so happy most of our visits were filled with light conversation and absurd frivolity. I always looked forward to hanging out, drinking a beer and making you laugh. The grass was always greener on your side of the lawn. Grandson Paul

Catherine was Mom and friend to me and for that alone I will be forever thankful. Her family meant everythng to her and no one gave more to family without asking for anything in return. I will miss our times together but I know she is at peace now with John, her beloved husband, at her side.
