Obituary of Phyllis Bishop

BISHOP- Phyllis M. Bishop, age 65, of Seymour died peacefully on July 9, 2010, with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on January 11, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Clara T. Klinga Nadeau. Mrs. Bishop was a Registered Nurse and specialized in geriatric health care, until the time of her retirement. She was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Center of Milford and will be long remembered for her special talent of crocheting in which she so unselfishly gave to all. Mrs. Bishop is survived by her devoted children, Scott Bishop and his wife, Kimberly of Bethany, Yvonne Lorincz and her husband, William of Seymour and James Bishop and his wife, Lisa of Monroe; her husband, James Bishop of Seymour; sisters Evelyn Woehrle and her husband, Dennis of NC, Denise Loomis and her husband, Richard of Shelton; 7 cherished grandchildren (with another on the way). She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Nadeau. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 9:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Funeral Service will take place at 10:15 AM in the Cornerstone Christian Center, 192 Meadow St., Milford. Private interment will be in St. Michael cemetery, Stratford.
