Obituary of David Onze

ONZE- David Andrew Onze, age 28, of Beacon Falls, passed this life following a sudden illness on December 11, 2007 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. Born in Bridgeport on April 7, 1979, he was the beloved son of George Onze of Bridgeport and Drucine Bill Onze of Beacon Falls. David was a graduate of the College of Oceaneering and had a good heart and treated everyone he met with kindness. He was always looking for new adventure and enjoyed scuba diving, kayaking, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends. He will be sorely missed. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his maternal great-grandmother, Mary Bill of Trumbull; paternal grandfather, George J. Onze of Bridgeport; brother, Christopher M. Onze and his wife Elizabeth of Ansonia; stepmother, Kathleen Onze and stepbrother, Sean Purcell and stepsister, Rebecca Purcell, all of Bridgeport. He is also survived by his cherished niece and nephew, Layla and Matthew Onze of Ansonia; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 17, 2007, at 10:00 AM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Nichols Ave., Stratford. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM on Monday morning prior to the service.
