Obituary of Dorothy Husar

HUSAR- Dorothy Mary Husar, age 86 of Shelton, died peacefully on March 24, 2016, at Griffin Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on October 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Cieman Kubus. Mrs. Husar was a longtime resident of Shelton and worked as an assembler for General Electric Co. of Bridgeport and then was employed as a packager for the Nancy Lynn Bakery of Bridgeport for many years, until the time of her retirement. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She is survived by her devoted son, John Husar of Shelton and niece, Joann Kubus of Bridgeport, as well as many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, John and Thomas Kubus; and sisters, Anna Vincent, Frances Krol, Jean Gancarski, Irene Frank, and Mary Morawski. Funeral services are private. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia, is in care of arrangements.
