Obituary of Lawrence Edward Petrosky

Lawrence E. Petrosky, Sr., age 59, beloved husband of Karen M. Boylan Petrosky of Ansonia, passed peacefully at home from this life on February 19, 2017. Born in Waterbury on January 30, 1958, he was the foster son of the late Andrew and Marie Fiore. Mr. Petrosky was a 52 year resident of Ansonia and worked as a diesel truck mechanic for Bridgehaven Ford of Milford for many years until the time of his retirement. He loved his family, collecting coins, watching his favorite TV car shows and especially spending time with his grandson. In addition to his wife of 39 years, he is survived by his devoted children, Lawrence E. Petrosky, Jr. of Ansonia, Brian (Elizabeth) J. Petrosky of Derby and Tiffany M. Petrosky of Ansonia; a cherished grandson, Jaxon T. Petrosky; his furry companion Chloe; sister, Maryellen Greene of Portland, CT; mother-in-law, Marie Boylan of Ansonia; many brothers and sisters-in- law; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Interment will be on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 23, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, prior to the service.
