Obituary of Roberta Anne Nolan
Roberta Anne Nolan, age 74 of New Haven, died peacefully on October 20, 2017 at the Mary Wade Home, New Haven. Born in Bridgeport on November 17, 1942. Known to all as “Robbie” she was the daughter of the late Robert and Anne Ritz Cadoret. Robbie was a resident of Seymour for over 40 years, before moving to Milford and then to New Haven. She worked as a bank teller for the original Ansonia Savings Bank of Klarides Village, Seymour, retiring from Wells Fargo in 2007 after 25 years of dedicated service. Robbie will be long remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor and her special love of her family and especially for her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted children, Patrick Nolan of Milford and Maureen Nolan Markham of Guilford; her twin sister, Barbara (David) Bowen of ME; her cherished grandchildren, Aidan and Noah Killheffer of Guilford, Shannon Cayer-McCarthy of Derby and Matthew Nolan of Milford. She was predeceased by her brother, James Cadoret and her sister, Margaret Ernst. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Episcopal Church, 326 Notch Hill Rd., North Branford, CT. Interment will immediately follow in the Zion Episcopal Church Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
