Obituary of Antonio Lisi
Antonio Lisi, age 82, of Trumbull, died peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Middlebrook Farms of Trumbull. Born in Strangolagalli, Frosinone, Italy, he was the son of the late Gino and Natalina Lisi. Mr. Lisi immigrated from Italy in 1955, settling in Bridgeport and later residing in Stratford and Huntington for many years. He worked in manufacturing as a tool and die maker for many area machine shops, and retired from Pratt & Whitney. Mr. Lisi was an avid gardener, wine maker and meticulously worked on many home improvement projects. In his retirement years, he enjoyed his country home in Waynesboro, VA, before returning to Trumbull. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Deborah (John) Poremba of Ansonia; sister, Anna (James) Linley of Easton; brother, Perry Lisi of Huntington; granddaughter, Erika Poremba of Ansonia. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Joellen Lisi of Shelton, nieces, Sarah (Eric) Gullbrand of DE, Joy (Scott) Rankin of MI, Nephew, Michael Lisi of MA; great niece, Lucy Rankin; as well as many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Daniel Lisi; brother, Italo Lisi; infant sister, Maria Lisi; and sister-in-law, Carole Lisi. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 9:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street, Ansonia. Entombment will directly follow in Mt. St. Peter Mausoleum, Derby.
