Rita, my sincere sympathy to you on Joe's passing. I remember meeting Joe a couple of times when you and I were working in the school system. He always came across to me warm and friendly. So true from the video presentation,"Love and memories will always be there". I do hope you are doing well. My best, Bruce

Joe served in our Oxford Lions Club as Treasurer for many years. I have known him for the past 15 years. One of his many outstanding qualities was his willingness to serve. If the Lions planned an activity, we could always count on Joe to be there and participating as both a leader and an individual. As a worker Joe was ready to volunteer and do anything needed. As a Treasurer he was very frugal. All of us Lions will miss Joe as we have already felt the loss during his illness. May God bless his soul!

My deepest condolences to Joe's family. I was in the band with Joe at Ansonia High School. Trumpet players were the top of the social structure and Joe was at the top of the trumpet players. The fact that he was in the drum corps made him even more awesome! Yet he was kind even to this lowly sax player. I couldn't believe he knew my name and even would take the time to talk with me. He inspired my lifelong love of drum corps music. I can see by his obituary that he led a great life and you must miss him terribly. He is gone too soon!
