Obituary of Nellie Sylvia Semon

Nellie Sylvie Semon, age 93, of Ansonia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was born to the late Caterina and Enrico Facchini on April 4, 1925. Nellie was an active, caring and loving mother to her five children and beloved wife of the late Paul Semon. Nellie is survived by her children, Wayne Seman (Annmarie) of Waterbury, Pamela D'Angelo (James) of Cheshire, Jeffrey Semon (Mary) of Plymouth and Suzanne Hess (John) of Guilford and was predeceased by her son Robert. Nellie was a nurturing and fun-loving inspiration to her seven grandchildren, Alicia Rose (Matthew), Desiree Dadio (Christopher), Katianna Seman, Ashley, John, Lauren and Justin Hess and to her great granddaughter, Bianca Dadio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Holy Rosary Church, Father Salemi Dr., Ansonia. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Family and friends may call on Saturday morning prior to the mass from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.
