I first met john John when his daughter Charlene was a student in my Sunday school class. He and his wife Dorothy were/are fine examples of our bretheren from Lemkovschina. John was a true Lemko Patriot, a person you were proud to cal Kum.
John, Mr. Borne of Shelton, will sorely be missed. He was a unique person and was true to his roots, his family, his country, and his faith. This is a time for us to rejoice in his new life, where there is no sickness, no pain, no sorrow and no sighing. He is now at peace with Our Savior. John we will miss you, we will remember your accomplishments, but most of all we will rejoice in your 90 years of being with us and now in your new life. May your memory be eternal - vechnaya pamyat -- an may our almighty God continue to bless your family and keep all of them well.
